A vigorous, Austrian-bred elder renowned for its exceptionally heavy fruiting and use in commercial orchards. Bred in the Haschberg region, this cultivar produces large clusters of fragrant white flowers in early summer, followed by masses of deep purple-black elderberries in late summer.

Ideal for culinary use, the berries are perfect for homemade cordials, wines, syrups, and preserves. The shrub grows to around 34m and thrives in sun or part shade in moist, fertile soil.
