Picea Pungens, or the Blue Star or Colorado Spruce, is a beautiful, slow-growing conical tree. As the tree matures, it develops horizontally layered, blue foliaged branches bringing a striking architectural element to the garden. The Blue Star develops a bushy growth habit from an early age and rarely requires staking. Grow this hardy conifer in a container for an excellent, long-lasting Christmas tree or plant as a magnificent specimen in the garden.

Soil: Well-drained soil.
Conditions: Full sun or part shade. Frost and drought hardy – does not tolerate heat and humidity.
Size: Height 2-5m x 2-5m
