Cordyline fruticosa Rubra is a gorgeous, vibrant plant to add to the garden. The broad leaves are a bronze-green in the centre, merging with vintage wine-red at the edges, with younger leaves a pink-russet-red. Grown for its decorative foliage and stunning contrast, it is the ideal garden shrub in warm climates, and it makes a great indoor plant in cooler areas. Remove dead foliage and cut back in spring if plants become leggy.

Soil: Well-drained, fertile soil.
Conditions: Prefers a warm, sunny to partly-shaded position. Protect from frost. Coastal tolerant.
Size: Height 1-2m x width 0.5m
