Magnolia stellata is a delightful, ornamental deciduous shrub loved for its early spring display of star-shaped blooms. The pure white, fragrant flowers appear before the foliage, often covering the bare branches in a spectacular show. Occasionally, the blooms are lightly flushed with pink, adding a delicate touch of colour. Through summer and autumn, the deep green leaves create a lush backdrop, adding to the shrubs ornamental appeal. Compact and slow-growing, Magnolia stellata gradually forms a neat, rounded shape, making it perfect for smaller gardens, courtyards, or containers.
