Maranta leuconeura

The Maranta Beauty Kim is a vibrant, striped, velvety plant native to the Brazilian tropics. It gets its nickname “prayer plant” because the leaves fold up at night, which mimics hands praying. It’s been said that this adaptation allows the roots to access rainfall.

Low to bright indirect light. Direct light will scorch the leaves.

SM: ~10″ tall and a 4″ pot.
MD: ~12-18″ tall and a 6″ pot.
LG: ~10-12″ tall and an 8″ pot.
XL: 2.5′ – 3′ tall and a 10″ pot.

Pro-tip: Let tap water sit for at least 24 hours to prevent leaf tip burn.
