Scleranthus biflorus Lime Lava is a distinctive, low-growing Australian native groundcover that forms vibrant, lime-green cushions with a soft, moss-like appearance. Its dense, sculptural habit allows it to naturally mould around rocks and contours, creating a flowing, green lava effect in the landscape. Ideal for landscaping, it works beautifully in rockeries, between pavers, or cascading over edges, and is equally suited to pots where its unique texture can be appreciated up close. It can be used to contrast with other plants or as a striking specimen on its own. This eye-catching plant is perfect for adding texture, softness, and a contemporary, architectural feel to garden spaces, especially where a low-maintenance, lawn-like look is desired without foot traffic.
